Fall Party - October 30

•Fall Parties and Community Service Projects (grades 3-5) are Friday, October 30.
•Students are being asked to donate the following items to benefit Hesed House in Aurora:
Grade 3 – Baby Care Items
Grade 4 – Personal Care Items, i.e. toothpaste, combs, deodorant, soap, etc.
Grade 5 – Non-perishable food items.
• All donation items will be collected during the party. Please have your child bring to class with the on Friday, Oct. 30.
• Game information should have been turned into your teacher. If it has not, please turn in to your teacher asap.
• Fall Party snack will be a Schwan’s vanilla ice cream cup. Nutritional information can be found at www.schwan’s.com and will also be posted across from the main office at school.
HALLOWEEN COSTUME REMINDER
• As you prepare for the great Halloween parade, please keep a few school costume guidelines in mind:
Costumes should not inhibit vision – masks and hoods can be kept off during the parade.
Toy weapons or sharp objects such as swords are not permitted at school…sorry cowboys and pirates.
Costumes with excessive gore such as fake blood, etc. are not permitted at school.
Students are not to come to school in costumes. They have time to change before the parade so be sure the costume is something they can put over school cloths and get into quickly.
