HOW LIVING THINGS INTERACT WITH THEIR ENVIRONMENT
Identify physical features of plants and animals that help them live in different environments.
Describe relationships among various organisms in their environments (Example: predator/prey).
PROPERTIES OF MATTER AND ENERGY AND THE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN THEM
Describe and explain the properties of liquids, solids, and gases.

Science Processes, Inquiry, and Technology

Grade Level Standard:

The learner will demonstrate the abilities necessary to solve scientific problems in a variety of ways.

Concepts to be Taught:
KNOW PRINCIPLES OF PROCESSES OF SCIENTIFIC INQUIRY

Formulate questions on a specific science topic and choose the steps needed to answer the question.
Collect data for scientific investigations using scientific process skills including observing, estimating, and measuring.
Construct charts and visuals to display data.
