PTA Welcome LetterDear
Patterson Parents, On behalf of the Patterson PTA, I would like to welcome you and your family to the Patterson community. I hope you and your family will have a great and rewarding experience throughout the years. We are fortunate to live in a community where families care about each other and parental involvement in our school is an everyday part of our children’s education. The PTA encourages you to rise up to the challenges of starting at a new school and meeting new people and welcomes you to become involved. The PTA is an integral part of the Patterson community as it operates 36 committees which offer 1,701 volunteer opportunities for all of our parents. Our annual membership drive begins at Meet & Greet and runs through November 15th. The PTA subsidizes assemblies, room parties, field trips, field day events, and much more. In addition, our committees and programs are primarily funded by our Fall Gift Wrap sale. We strongly encourage you to join the PTA and participate in the Fall fundraiser as each and every student benefits from the many activities that the PTA sponsors. I would like to offer you our assistance in answering any questions and concerns you might have about the school and/or community. Please visit the Patterson website at http:/patterson.ipsd.org to learn more about events at our school and to access the PTA sponsored monthly school newsletter, the Patterson Press. To receive important notification of daily Patterson announcements, you will need to subscribe the IPSD list-serve by filling out the white form and returning it to the office.
